Don’t let the results drive your response.
The message you need to carry you forward this week is “focus on the reward, not the results. “
it’s not wrong to get invested in results. but as you follow the lifestyle modeled by Jesus, you’ll find results are sparse. jesus revealed to his followers that results aren’t the best place to find your reward. So remember though the cost of following Jesus is great, the reward is greater.
Jesus promises that we can be where he is when this current life ends.

a new step for you to take as you begin to consider the basis of your faith is to decide if what Jesus revealed to his followers is trustworthy. Has “results” been a focus for you? and has Jesus pointed you in the right direction by steering you away from a source of great disappointment? whatever you discover as you take this new step, know that you’ve only begun.
